Rodney’s roots trace back to the Southwest Iowa town of Corning where he was born and raised. This foundation has given him an understanding of the small community. However, his professional experience also includes work in the Des Moines metro area. Extensive travels throughout Europe along with time spent at the University of Bath in England, have given Rodney an appreciation for great works of architecture.

He has an extensive background in computer aided design and computer graphics, which enables him to provide the client with a realistic vision of the completed building. At times, Rodney has also personally assisted in the construction of his designs. This hammer savvy allows for better communication between architect and contractor and often leads to a more innovative building.
